Back Pays with Meridian

With Meridian, back pays are no longer a complicated process. Meridian delivers automated back pay calculations so that if you need to back pay employees, you can quickly and easily do so. For maximum security, Meridian ensures that adjustments made after you create your payroll EFT file are processed as a back pay transaction.

Meridian automatically creates the back pay calculation and transaction based on either a percentage or dollar value applied to previously paid amounts. Customised messages can be added to the employee’s pay advice to notify them of the payment.

A global back pay can be applied across a group of associated employees if a percentage rate amendment is required for a specific pay class or group of employees, such as employees on a particular award.
