The choice of Super Fund has complicated superannuation processing – the more funds your staff choose, the more complex it becomes.

Express Super is an optional superannuation clearing service that helps protect your business against non-compliance and processing errors. It manages the administrative burden of Choice of Superannuation Fund on your behalf. 

Express Super is a built-in feature in Meridian that enables employers to send a single contributions file from within the payroll software. The process will generate a Super Contributions File and EFT file which is further managed by the super clearing house. 

A single deduction is made from your nominated bank account. The clearing house then distributes the information and contributions to your employees’ chosen super funds, as well as your employer nominated fund. 

Data exchange to and from the superannuation clearing house is highly secure. Express Super returns current information about all registered funds to your payroll, meaning no maintenance of registered funds is required from your side. 

The super clearing house will produce detailed reports regarding the superannuation transactions, which can be accessed at any time through the clearing house’s
secure website. 

Fees are transaction-based and invoiced monthly. Our clearing service provider is SuperChoice Services Pty Limited ABN 78 109 509 739.
