The 5 Steps of Migrating 

You will undergo a process that is tried and tested, with thousands of clients already successfully migrated. The process is based on an intrinsic knowledge of how your current MicrOpay software operates and supported by a dedicated service team to assist you every step of the way.

The 5 Easy Steps to Meridian: 

Step 1. Obtain a quote

If you have not yet received a quote or misplaced your quotation, please contact us today. We require your HRCF.dat system configuration file to determine your software requirements to supply accurate pricing. 

Step 2. Licence Agreement

When you decide to proceed, you will need to determine a timeframe for your migration and inform us of your decision.

We will supply you with a new Meridian Licence Agreement to be signed. Your Meridian software will be sent to you, along with your invoice and a credit note for any unused Software Maintenance and Support Fees (SM&S) for your current system. 

Step 3. Receive Training

Your migration fee includes comprehensive core software training for 2 of your staff members. You will also receive training for certain additional modules purchased. This will be arranged by one of our training consultants. Migration training is held in one of our well-equipped training rooms in small groups, where you will receive individual assistance and a free lunch! 

Step 4. Installation & Data Migration

Once your software has been installed and registered, you will need to migrate your data from your current system into Meridian, using an automated software tool. The training provided will cover the data migration (an automatic process) and how to process your payroll using Meridian. However, if you require any additional implementation resources, MicrOpay Consulting can offer valuable assistance and are available at discounted rates. 

Step 5. Parallel Runs & Go live!

We highly recommended that you undertake parallel runs with your old and new system to ensure everything is running smoothly. Once your parallel runs prove successful you can decommission your old software and start using Meridian to pay your staff. An archive license is provided for your old software to enable you to continue to access & run reports over historical data.
