Training Terms and Conditions
By registering for a MicrOpay Education Course, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Bookings
Attendees are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment. Bookings will be confirmed in writing and a tax invoice
will be issued.
Payment for Course Attendance
Payment must be received prior to commencement of the course. Attendees for whom payment hasn’t been received will not be admitted. Payment will be accepted by cheque or credit card only.
Course Cancelled by Sage MicrOpay
Where it is necessary for MicrOpay to cancel a course for any reason Sage MicrOpay will give as much notice as possible and will contact attendees to arrange alternatives.
Cancellations, Transfers and Substitutions by Attendees
- Booking cancellations, transfers and substitutions should be notified as soon as possible to Sage MicrOpay.
- Attendees may cancel at no penalty no later than 8 working days prior to commencement of the course.
- For cancellations received between 7 and 4 working days prior to commencement of the course a cancellation fee of $220.00 or half of the scheduled course fee (which ever is greater) will apply.
- For cancellations received 3 or less working days prior to commencement of the course, or non-attendance at the course, no refunds or credits will apply.
- Substitute participants will be accepted up to the time of course commencement.
Conference/Seminar Cancellations, Transfers and Substitutions by Attendees
- Booking cancellations, transfers and substitutions should be notified as soon as possible to Sage MicrOpay.
- Attendees may cancel at no penalty no later than 14 working days prior to commencement of the conference/seminar.
- For cancellations received between 8 and 4 working days prior to commencement of the conference/seminar a cancellation fee 50% of the scheduled fee will apply.
- For cancellations received 7 or less working days prior to commencement of the course, or non-attendance at the course, no refunds or credits will apply.
- Substitute participants will be accepted up to the time of the conference/seminar commencement.
Appropriateness of Course
It is the responsibility of the client or individual making the course booking to ensure that the course as outlined is appropriate for the requirements of the attendee.
Use of Client Data on Sage MicrOpay Training PC Equipment
Where a Sage MicrOpay course permits attendees to bring copies of their payroll databases, it is the responsibility of the attendee to ensure that the media used and the data contained in it is free of any computer virus. Any Privacy Act requirements in respect of this data are solely the responsibility of the attendee and the client.
WebClasses
All telephone costs associated with a WebClass are for the clients’ account.
WebClass delegates need a computer with internet access and a telephone.
WebClass course notes will either be posted out via standard mail or supplied electronically, dependent on course type – please speak to your service representative to confirm which is applicable to the course you purchase.
First time users of WebClass technology are encouraged to link in early to allow sufficient time to test system access.
