Career Guidance
Thinking about Career Planning? Consider the following:
- What are your long term objectives?
- Do you need to learn more skills?
- What are your individual priorities?
How can your consultant help with your career planning?
Generally your consultant is well placed to be able to provide you with advice on current market conditions and what you can expect when looking for a new role. They can also help you prepare by providing you with interview tips and advice on the content of your resume.
Your Sage Micropay Recruitment Consultant is often in a position to be able to offer insights into companies you’d like to work for.
They are there to guide and assist you but they need to know what you are looking to achieve. Have open and regular conversations with them about how you feel you are progressing in your roles and what areas you wish to develop.
Always keep your consultant up to date if your objectives change so you both can continue to work towards the same goal.
Give your Consultant plenty of feedback. If they have helped you achieve something, let them know and conversely if you feel that you need more support from them it is important to communicate this as well.
In addition if you become a Sage Micropay Temporary Payroll Professional (TPP), extra career planning assistance may be provided by your consultant including booking you into a Sage Micropay training course or giving you an opportunity to come into our office and refresh your skills on any of our software products.
