Web Server Requirements

Minimum Hardware
Intel Xeon 2.0 GHz or higher 2 GB of RAM NTFS Partition RAID 1 or higher with 2 GB of free Hard Disk Space
WAN Details: 512 Kbit upstream connection, for ConnX to be accessed over the internet. If there are several concurrent users accessing ConnX over the Internet or WAN link a faster upstream connection is recommended.

These may vary from site to site. We recommend the use of SSL 128bit encryption to secure the information being viewed. The use of SSL requires a Security Certificate.

Backups

Minimum	Recommended
Daily backups of the ConnX SQL database be scheduled to run, backed up to file. The database file backup should then be backed up onto external media, eg nightly file system backup to tape. Complete ConnX website backup using your Backup software should also be regularly performed. Full documentation for this process is supplied on the ConnX CD.	Use a SQL Agent or SQL Plug-in to your existing Backup software. This will integrate with your current backup software solution, so that your nightly backup can take a snapshot of the ConnX SQL database directly. Most leading backup software providers offer a SQL Agent or SQL Plug-in. Complete ConnX website backup using your Backup software should also be regularly performed.
